AQUIS STOCK EXCHANGE

Roundhouse AI (ETHL) plans to move to AIM to help with the progress in developing and enhancing the profile of its AI agent deployment infrastructure. No timing has been indicated. Net assets were £823,000 at the end of June 2026. The company joined Aquis as Roundhouse Digital on 30 January 2026. It was then an AI technology company with an Ethereum-denominated treasury. There was £1.1m raised at 4p/share. The company was valued at £10m. In July, Roundhouse AI sold all its 469.63246 Ethereum holding at an average price of $1,890.43 each. The cash will be invested in AI operations.

Valereum (VLRM) says the definitive agreement with Quorium Global Photonics (QGP) has become unconditional. Valereum has issued 55 million shares to QGP, taking its stake back to 49.9%, and has received a first-ranking security interest over mining interests in Queensland, Australia. Valereum has received 275,000 VGOLD-CORE+ tokens, with the remaining 4,500 tokens in escrow.

VVV Sports (VVV) says more than 20,000 spectators attended the London Premier Padel P1 tournament in August. There was UK media coverage of the tournament and subsidiary R3’s players.

Delta Gold Technologies (DGQ) has granted options over 300,000 shares exercisable at 148p each to advisers Professor Harry Ruda and Professor Kenneth Knappenberger Jr.

Ajax Resources (AJAX) chief executive Ippolito Ingo Cattaneo bought 200,000 shares at 6.5p each, taking the shareholding to 16.8%. Michael Hutchison bought 150,000 shares at 6.4p each, taking his shareholding to 3.85%.

Coinsilium Group (COIN) says that following achievement of agreed milestones for Nijinn, the Predictive Labs prediction markets analytics platform, it has subscribed for $100,000 of preference shares, taking the stake to 14.9%.

Hot Rocks Investments (HRIP) investee company Sunshine Gold has raised $1.02m via a convertible note. The company’s name will be changed to Suncrest Gold before a planned ASX listing. A tenement application has been lodged over a gold target in West Kimberley called the Kimberley King project.

Rise Investments has increased its stake in B HODL (HODL) from 7.63% to 8.24%. Adam Back took his stake above 26% and it was then reduced to 25.8%.

AIM

Caledonia Mining Corp (CMCL) has reported a maiden mineral resource for the Motapa prospect in Zimbabwe, which is next door to Bilboes, which should be in production by the end of 2028. The resource is 379,000 ounces of gold in measured and indicated categories and 131,000 ounces of inferred resource. This is before additional exploration this year. The Blanket mine, which is generating revenues for the company, has added further resource not just underground, but for the first time a shallow resource. The shallow oxide resource is 22,000 ounces of gold at surface and will be easier to mine adding to the cash generation possibly as early as the second half of 2026. This will provide additional cash to finance the development of Bilboes, which could cost around $600m.

Tungsten West (TUN) has secured investment of up to £71m from the National Wealth Fund. This is via a £36m equity investment at 36p/share, for a 7.42% stake in Tungsten West, and a £25m debt facility, plus a £10m uncommitted accordion facility. The UK government has an opportunity to secure an offtake agreement for up to 50% of tungsten production at the Hemerdon project. First production is targeted for the third quarter of this year and there are also offtake talks with a downstream tungsten refiner.

Staffing firm Empresaria (EMR) interim pre-tax profit has rebounded 256% to £3.2m and this led Allenby to rise its full year forecast from £5.2m to £6.2m. There was 5% growth in net fee income and costs were reduced. Net debt was flat at £17m.

Resources explorer and developer 80 Mile (80M) says that the Ferrandina biodiesel plant in southern Italy has received European sustainability accreditation. This means that the biodiesel should attract a premium price.

Canaccord Genuity has published a flash note on Kooth (KOO) suggesting that the $18bn Meta settlement has highlighted the mental health of youths and US state clients of Kooth mental health services are due to receive significant amounts of cash. The California attorney general claims that the money is earmarked for mental health and Kooth could receive additional work.

Diagnostics firm EDX Medical (EDX) has raised £2.7m at 14p/share. The cash will fund the new employee health screening service. Discussions continue with three potential clients, and two more companies have approached EDX. The company had expected to report 2025-26 revenues of £1.2m, but the auditors have advised that £860,000 should be deferred into 2026-27.

Surveillance technology supplier Thruvision (THRU) has received an order from government in Canada for the 8108 WalkTHRU equipment. It will be used for screening visitors to the council chambers. There have also been other orders in Europe.

Transport software and technology supplier Tracsis (TRCS) says group full year revenues improved from £81.9m to £85.5m and EBITDA rose from £12.6m to £13.5m. Cash was £19.4m at the end of July 2026 before the proceeds of the events business disposal and the acquisition of Mistral Data.

Building products supplier Alumasc (ALU) has sacked its new chief executive Pamela Bingham after an investigation into her professional conduct. The 2025-26 results will be published on 15 September.

Vast Resources (LON: VAST) has been admitted as a member of Defense Industrial Base Consortium and the Cornerstone Consortium. This puts the company in a position to interact with organisations involved in critical mineral supply chains in North America.

Southern Energy Corp (SOUC) expects to report the result of the Terrible Creek 21-2 #2 oil well in September. This is on the Williamsburg field and if the well is successful then another will be drilled before the end of the year. Southern Energy Corp announced that its second quarter production was 3% higher than the previous quarter at 1,743 barrels of oil equivalent per day, but lower prices meant that revenues were one-quarter lower at $4.2m. Cash generated from operations was $700,000 and cash was $8.6m at the end of the period.

Jarvis Securities (JIM) says that no offers have been received for its operating subsidiary and it will be wound down. There is no value in the subsidiary, and the board is considering returning any remaining capital to shareholders.

Trellus Health (TRLS) has appointed Quantuma Advisory as administrator. No return is expected for shareholders.

Sutton Harbour (SUH) has to refinance its debt, and a strategic review has decided it would be best to leave AIM. Annualised savings of £200,000 will be made. Net debt is £26m. The property portfolio was worth £45.7m at the end of March 2026, and properties worth £4.74m have subsequently been sold and helped to reduce debt. Further disposals are planned and there will be returns to shareholders.

MAIN MARKET

BATM (BVC) has nearly completed the sale of non-core operations so that it can concentrate on cyber and networks. First half revenues from those activities were 9% ahead and operating profit improved. Networks was loss making and cyber was profitable. Net cash was $14.6m at the end of June 2026. Trading is improving in the second half. A small 2026 pre-tax profit is forecast.

Packaging manufacturer and distributor Macfarlane Group (MACF) interims were in line with expectations. Revenues were 2% ahead, but volumes were flat. Pre-tax profit was 9% lower at £7.2m. The second half is expected to be better. The performance of the Pitreavie factory should recover.

AQUIS STOCK EXCHANGE

Ajax Resources (AJAX) has agreed to acquire a 74.79% stake in the Paguanta project in Chile. The initial consideration is $50,000 in cash and $350,000 in shares at 25p each. Deferred consideration is $500,000 in cash when there is a JORC proven and probal ore reserve of more than 25 million metric tonnes at a grade of 5% or greater zinc and $500,000 in cash when there are least five million tonnes of contained metric tonnes of copper as part of proven and probable reserves. The option to buy Minerva Metals has been terminated. Chief executive Ippolito Catteneo bought 473,983 shares at 6p each and director Richard Heywood acquired 163,639 shares at 6.111p each. Edison has published research.

Oberon Investments (OBE) has raised £1.4m at 2.1p/share, which was the then market price, and this will provide working capital. At the end of March 2026, there was £1.95m in the bank. Last year, revenues increased from £9.36m to £11.7m. Investment management income rose from £5.77m to £7.64m and the contributions from corporate finance and financial planning also increased. Funds under management and administration were £1.4bn. The underlying operating loss increased from £3.87m to £4.74m. New teams appointed last year will contribute in the current financial year.

Cooks Coffee Company (COOK) systemwide store sales in the UK and Ireland grew 14% in the first quarter to June 2026, compared with the first quarter of last year. UK growth was slightly faster than that figure, although like-for-like sales growth was 1.4% compared with 2.7% in Ireland. There are 84 stores in the UK and 26 in Ireland.

VSA Capital (VSA) is asking shareholders to agree to a 10,000-for-one share consolidation at the AGM on 10 September.

Bitcoin investor B HODL (HODL) has started a new tranche of share buybacks because the share price is a discount to NAV.

Asia Wealth Group (AWLP) increased full year pre-tax profit from $2,000 to $31,000. The company is seeking acquisitions. There is cash in the bank of $842,000.

Coinsilium Group (COIN) says joint broker Oak Securities has initiated research.

Castlefield Investment Partners decreased its stake in Capital for Colleagues (CFCP) from 37.4% to 34.2%. Livia Hannah Meyer’s stake in Global Connectivity (GCON) is down from 10.2% to 9.49%, and Chris Akers shareholding was reduced from 6.5% to 3.04%, while Keith Harris raised his stake from 12.4% to 22.7% and Chris New increased his stake from 9.91% to 14.9%

Lift Global Ventures (LFT) director Mark Horrocks bought 4.175 million shares at 0.45p each, taking his holding to 19.96%, and fellow director Sandy Barblett bought the same number at the same price, taking his stake to 4.37%.

H and H Group (HHG), which is a livestock auctioneer, land agency and property services provider, joined JP Jenkins private trading platform on 17 August.

AIM

Vast Resources (VAST) shares returned from suspension following the completion of the reverse takeover of Gulf International Minerals. The sellers own 80.2% of the enlarged company. This brings a 49% interest in the Aprelevka joint venture, which has four mining licences in the Tien Shan gold belt. These produce 11,000 ounces of gold and 130,000 ounces of silver each year from mining and tailings. There was £7.8m raised at 6.25p/share following a 25-for-one share consolidation.

Small business finance provider Time Finance (TIME) is recommending a bid from Ultimate Finance, which itself was taken private when it was an AIM-quoted company. The offer is 59.1p/share, which values Time Finance at £55.1m. Both companies are focused on smaller businesses, while Ultimate Finance also provides property bridging loans. The three largest Time Finance shareholders back the bid.

Biotech company TheraCryf (TCF) is raising £1.05m at 0.18p/share. This will help to finance the clinical programme for the Orexin-1 antagonist addiction asset. There are plans to seek partnerships for the company’s neuropsychiatry assets. TheraCryf wants to complete the Orexin-1 programme and then secure a partner or out-licence deal. This would provide funds for further financial trials. There is already interest from potential partners. There is an accelerated pathway to gain approvals for phase 1 clinical trials. Cash should last until the first quarter of 2027.

Recruitment firm Gattaca (GATC) reported a strong trading update with net fee income 11% ahead at £43.2m. It is on course to increase pre-tax profit from £3.3m to £6.1m.

M2G boiler optimisation technology provider Sabien Technology (SNT) says discussions continue with Haydale (HAYD) and Intelligent Resource Management about a UK distribution agreement. The previously announced investment and financing framework will not go ahead. This means that the strategic investor group will not buy the Richard Parris shareholding. His group will continue to provide financial support to the company. Non-core activities are being reviewed.

Midlands-based property investor Real Estate Investors (RLE) continues to reduce debt. There are £15.7m of assets under offer with £10.7m exchanged or completed at 92% of 2025 book value. The existing pipeline of sale should repay debt. Timing of sales is uncertain and Panmure Liberum has halved its 2026 disposal expectations to £20m. There have been new lettings generating £400,000 of additional annual rents.

Surveillance systems supplier Synectics (SNX) reported a decline in interim revenues from £35.5m to £22.2m. This was partly due to a one-off contract in the previous period and meant that a pre-tax profit of £3m was turned into a loss of £443,000. The order book is worth £26.4m. There will be a more normal second half weighting this year, although the Middle East conflict creates uncertainty. EBITDA is expected to be between £3.7m to £4.1m.

Digital transformation services provider Made Tech Group (MTEC) has won a £40m contract with an unnamed UK government department. This contract lasts four years. The pre-tax profit forecast for the year to May 2026 has been raised from £4.6m to £4.9m following a previous trading statement and the 2026-27 figure has been increased from £5.6m to £6m due to the initial income from the new contract. Net cash is expected to be £14.5m at the end of May 2026.

Empire Metals (EEE) says the updated mineral resource estimate for the 70%-owned Pitfield titanium project shows it is the largest titanium resource in the world. The figure has increased to 8.16Bt at 4.3% TiO2 for 349 million tonnes of contained TiO2. The initial measured resource is 21.6 million tonnes of contained titanium. This is enough to move to the mine planning stage. Zeus has increased its fair value share price estimate from 84p to 144p, just based on the near-surface zone which has 194.5 million tonnes of TiO2.

Pageant Investments has taken a 7.24% stake in Everyman Media (EMAN), which is expected to make an announcement about its proposal to leave AIM following talks with shareholders.

Energy as a service provider eEnergy (EAAS) has been hit by delays to payments of £3.2m relating to completed work on the Mace project. Paperwork is still being completed. The company has agreed to an extension to the repayment of the £500,000 owed to Harwood Holdco to February 2027. An additional £500,000 loan is being provided by former director Nigel Burton.

Great Western Mining Corporation (GWMO) has commenced drilling at the Defender tungsten project in Nevada. This should deliver a maiden mineral resource estimate by the end of 2026. The initial results will be available in September and October.

Talisman Metals (TLM) has raised £501,800 at 7p/share. the cash will finance exploration at the Tirzzit copper project and the Fougnar copper project in Morocco.

MAIN MARKET

Motor dealer software provider Pinewood Technologies (PINE) has recommended a 448p/share cash offer from Ridgeview Partners. This values the company at £545m. An alternative is an unlisted limited liability company in interest in Rollover Holdco for each share.

Mila Resources (MILA) says geophysical results from the Monal copper gold project in Queensland were highly positive. A clear target has been identified at the Basilica prospect. There are veins at surface that could reflect a deeper anomaly. Drilling is underway at the Yarrol gold project.

First Tin (1SN) has updated its definitive feasibility study for the Taronga tin project in Australia. This has increased the project value. Using $40,000/t for the tin price, which is well below the current price, and including the phase 2 extension the post-tax NPV8 is A$246m, up from A$98m.

Cadmium-free quantum dots developer Nanoco (NANO) is on track to complete the joint development agreement with its first Asian chemical customer. The second Asian customer is in talks concerning the next step to the existing programme. The shareholder consultation is continuing.

Rockpool Acquisitions (ROC) says the potential reverse takeover of European Lingerie has been delayed as the target seeks to refinance its debt. There is uncertainty whether Rockpool Acquisitions will be able to recover money owed by European Lingerie.

AQUIS STOCK EXCHANGE

Technology developer Vault Ventures (VULT) is finalising a strategic partnership with an organisation involved in quantum, post-quantum and security-critical software systems. This will support development of revenue generating quantum products for regulated organisations. Priority areas have been identified, and the partnership should accelerate development. There should be no requirement for a share issue to fund the partnership.

The WeShop share price fell back to $111.85, although volumes remain low. Even so, shares in both Aquis-quoted investors gained during the week. WeCap (WCAP) shares rose 8.11% to 2p and Hot Rocks Investments (HRIP) shares increased 3.08% to 1.675p.

Ajax Resources (AJAX) has signed a conditional option to acquire the Rachaite silver, lead, zinc and copper/gold prospect in Argentina. The prospect was previously owned by former AIM company Alexander Mining and its drilling confirmed mineralisation. The potential purchase price is $20,000 in shares or the option and $380,000 in cash when exercised. Ajax Resources also has to invest $200,000 in exploration over three years. A 1% net smelter royalty will be retained by the seller, and this can be purchased for $250,000 minus royalty payments made.

Mendell Helium (MDH) says costs were swelled by preparations for a move to AIM when the option to acquire M3 Helium is exercised. There was a cash outflow from operations of £1.1m in the six months to September 2025.

EDX Medical (EDX) chief executive Dr Michael Hudson bought 28,526 shares at 10.57p each.

SulNOx Group (SNOX) says 1.45 million warrants were exercised by existing shareholders at 29p each, raising £420,000. Constantine Logothetis now holds 27.75% and Nistadgruppen AS has 13.85%.

The Smarter Web Company (SWC) has agreed a new subscription agreement for a further 50 million shares and the existing 13.24 million shares not subscribed for from the previous agreement. Up to 25% of the trading volume in one week can be issued.

Valereium (VLRM) is talking to a potential new corporate adviser. It will soon be listing the WAGEEN Token (WAG1) on licenced tokenisation venue for real-world assets VLRM Markets. The token will be issued by Wageen Corp, which is building an integrated ecosystem combining terrestrial, air, and maritime transport services into one platform.  This could generate revenues of $600,000 for Valereum.

Coinsilium Group (COIN) plans a comprehensive update on strategy in the New Year. Portfolio company Otomato Web3 Agent Protocol has secured a $2m investment from a UK technology company.

Oscillate (SRVL) has completed the first exploration programme on its licence in the Kalahari copper belt. The results will be available in the first quarter of 2026.

TechFinancials (TCH) has received the £250,000 raised in September at 0.25p/share. This will help fund the development of the 25%-owned Dilotiko iron ore operations in Kenya. There is an option to acquire up to 60% of Dilotiko. The company’s name will be changed to Ubunto Mining and Metals Inc.

B HODL (HODL) has approved a Strategic Bitcoin-Backed Loan Framework using CoinCorner’s product as part of its treasury management activities. CoinCorner is a shareholder in B HODL. The cash will finance Bitcoin purchases.

Oberon Investments (OBE) raised £625,000 at 3.7p/share.

Property investor Ace Liberty and Stone (ALSP) chairman Dr. Antonios Ghorayeb bought 36,000 shares at 25p each, taking his stake to 0.94%.

Amazing AI (AAI) is changing its year end from June to December. The next accounts will be for 18 months to December 2025.

Energy generator OPG Ventures (OPG) left AIM and joined JP Jenkins on 23 December. The India-focused company operates coal-fired power plants.

Medical imaging technology developer Polarean Imaging (POLX) left AIM and joined JP Jenkins on 23 December.

Gosport-based brewer and bars operator Powder Monkey (PMGL) has bought County Durham-based Maxim Brewery, which was formed after the closure of Vaux Breweries in 1999. A share subscription is planned.

AIM

Oil and gas company Sintana Energy Inc (SEI) completed the acquisition of Challenger Energy in early December and joined AIM on 23 December.

Indus Gas (INDI) is proposing to shareholders that it should leave AIM. A general meeting will be held on 8 January. There is a limited free float, and it has been difficult to raise funds or use shares for acquisitions. Gynia Holdings owns 82.7%. Interim figures show an improved pre-tax profit of $1.93m, up from $1.24m. Indus Gas is awaiting a production sharing contract extension so a new gas sale and purchase agreement can be signed.

Pipehawk (PIP) is selling Utsi Electronics to Hong Kong company Leidi Global Supply for £1m. A £25,000 deposit has been paid. This subsidiary lost £464,000 last year. Stripping that out, Pipehawk would have made a pre-tax profit of £154,000. This leaves utility infrastructure detection company Adien and rail-focused Thomson Engineering Design.

Professional services provider Christie Group (CTG) is selling visitor attraction software business Vennersys for an initial £500,000 in cash. There is also up to £900,000 of retained consideration subject to performance conditions. The sale should be completed by the end of January. Vennersys is loss making and the disposal could add around £500,000 to 2026 pre-tax profit – £2.8m is the current forecast.

Mobile Streams (MOS) shares returned from suspension down 62.6% to 0.23p following publication of an admission document and results for the year to June 2025. June 2025. The company, which is changing its name to Gana Media Group, is acquiring the shares it does not own in two Mexican sports betting and media companies. It already owns 28.7% to Estadio Gana, plus convertible loan stock, and 22.5% of Capital Media Sports. Buying the rest of Estadio Gana will cost £31.9m in shares at 0.625p each, while 584.2 million shares a 0.495p each will be issued for Capital Media Sports. Investment in existing Mexican operations enabled full year revenues to rise from £436,000 to £1.41m. Net cash was £1.52m at the end of June 2025 and by the end of September available cash was £991,000.

Store closures and exiting Boots meant that Mothercare (MTC) interim revenues fell by one-quarter to £90.7m. Like-for-like revenues were 6% lower. The pre-tax loss declined from £1.4m to £1.1m due to lower interest charges. The new South Asia joint venture made a positive contribution. Net debt was reduced from £17.1m to £5.8m. Chairman Clive Whiley has bought 42 million shares in Mothercare at 1p each taking his stake to 8.87%, while finance director Andy Cook bought 5 million shares at 1p each. Robert Quested reduced his stake from 9.39% to 1.05%.

Vast Resources (VAST) has announced the proposed acquisition of Gulf International Minerals in an all share deal and trading in the shares has been suspended. Gulf International Minerals is an explorer focused on Tajikistan. It has a joint venture with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies in Tajikistan covering four gold mining operations and a central processing plant. Of these, Aprelevka produces 10,4000 ounces of gold and 80,000 ounces of silver each year and Vast has been managing the operation in return for 10% of earnings after tax. A placing will raise £7.5m and this will help to fund a JORC compliant resource estimate.

Quicklime producer and critical metals explorer Firering Strategic Minerals (FRG) has raised £860,000 at 1.25p/share. The $1m Ricca debt has also been settled. The cash will fund further development of the Limeco project in Zambia. This investment will help to increase revenues.

Synthetic binders developer Aptamer (APTA) has signed a licensing agreement with Alphazyme, a Maravai LifeSciences company that supplies speciality enzymes to the life sciences sector. The non-exclusive deal is for a developed Optimer® for use in hot-start PCR applications – when the enzyme switches on when heated. The original development deal was signed in June 2024, and another development project has recently completed.

Pantheon Resources (PANR) is suspending flow testing at the Duhle-1 well in order to save costs of around $150,000/day in the winter period. Costs will be lower in the spring. Results have been disappointing so far. The company will analyse data and assess opportunities in other parts of its oil and gas portfolio in Alaska. There is $27.2m in the bank. Zeus has cut its total risked NAV from 73p/share to 53p/share. Michael Spencer’s stake reduced from 8.19% to 7.59%.

Premier African Minerals (PREM) says it has been issued with a writ of execution of movable property at the Zulu project by a creditor seeking $2.2m. Discussions continue with the creditor, which is JR Goddard Contracting.

Alliance Lithium (ALL) has revised and resubmitted its mining licence application for the Ewoyaa lithium project in Ghana. The royalty rate will be between 5% and 12% depending on the spodumene price. Canaccord Genuity assumes 10% in its forecasts suggesting a price between $2,501/tonne and $3,000/tonne, but the price is currently lower. The new lease requires government ratification.

Litigation Capital Management (LIT) has to meet the costs of a failed claim in Queensland against Stanwell Corporation and CS Energy. Each company will receive A$16.2m. This partly covered by insurance, but the company still has to pay A$12.9m. An appeal has been filed and should be heard in March and there may also be an appeal against the costs award. The strategic review of operations is ongoing.

AQUIS STOCK EXCHANGE

Smarter Web Company (SWC), which was formerly Uranium Energy Exploration, joined Aquis on Thursday and it raised £1m at 2.5p/share. Smarter Web Company provides web design, development and marketing services. It generates income from an initial fee, annual hosting and optional marketing charge. Bitcoin payments are accepted. There are plans to grow through acquisition.

Marula Mining (MARU) is acquiring up to 70% of the Boteti lithium brines project in Botswana. There are three licences within the Makgadikgadi Desert Salt Pan. Marula Mining will issue 250,000 shares at 4p each to acquire the initial 50% interest, plus £10,000 worth of shares once due diligence is completed. Marula Mining will finance 100% of spending up until production. Once a feasibility study is successfully completed a further £250,000 of shares will be issue and e is the option to increase the interest to 70% through a further issue of £100,000 worth of shares.

Fenikso (FNK) has renegotiated the $11.5m loan from Savannah Investments. It will be settled for $5.76m and $2.5m will be made when the deal is signed. The other $3.26m will be paid by the end of the year. There should still be cash left on the balance sheet after the payments.

Valereum (VLRM) is not going to receive the £19m investment by DMC Markets. VLRM Markets will commence operations, open its Real-World Asset (RWA) Platform and launch its V-Wallet. This operation has a licence in El Salvador. Management has been involved in a delegation to the SEC concerning proposals to regulate digital assets.

Wishbone Gold (WSBN) is preparing to drill the main undrilled gold target at Red Setter Dome, near the Telfer gold miner. A major dome-like structure is similar to Telfer.

Adsure Services (ADS) says there is strong demand for its audit and assurance services.

Mendell Helium (MDH) has increased the subscription from £796,000 to £834,000. The subscription price is 2p/share.

TruSpine Technologies (TRU) has issued shares at 1.5p each to pay creditors totalling £107,000.

Nicholas Fairfax sold 27,900 shares in SulNOx Group (SNOX) at 80p each.

Greenshields Agri (GAH) says UK farmland values are holding steady. Current net asset value is 162p/share.

AIM

Major shareholder Regent Gas Holdings has set up a company to make an offer of 68.5p/share in cash for energy assurance and optimisation services provider Inspired (INSE). Gas supplier Regent is the second largest shareholder with 29.4% and it owns convertible loan notes and warrants. Regent would prefer the focus to be reducing debt, which has already been cut following the December fundraising. This includes ending dividend payments. A strategic review will be started, so that debt can be eliminated by the end of 2026. Gresham House owns 29.7% of Inspired plus convertibles and warrants. It says that it will not accept the offer.

Selkirk Group (SELK) has made an approach to THG to acquire its MyProtein business for £400m-£600m, subject to due diligence, payable in cash and shares. THG has rejected the offer because of the valuation and the structure of the offer. Talks are not ongoing, but Selkirk could return to the potential deal if circumstances change. Management is assessing other reverse takeovers.

Foreign exchange services provider Argentex (AGFX) ran into financial problems because of currency volatility. IFX Payments is offering 2.49p/share in cash and the board is recommending the bid. It is also providing a £6.5m bridging loan. IFX Payments is interested in the technology that Argentex has developed.

Payment services provider Finseta (FIN) performed as anticipated in 2024, but higher costs for start-ups have hit the share price in recent weeks. In 2024, revenues were18% higher at £11.4m and pre-tax profit improved from £1.4m to £1.5m. There was no contribution from Canada or UAE, which start trading this year. There have been concerns about the problems at Argentex, but Finseta is a different business and is not allowed to take the type of risks taken by Argentex.

Rail software and services provider Tracsis (TRCS) had already warned of tough trading conditions prior to the interim results. Pre-exceptional and share-based payments profit fell from £1.8m to £235,000. The data, analytics and events division fell into loss because costs were higher than anticipated when work was won. This will hamper the full year contribution, although the second half is always stronger. Action will be taken to improve margins. The main concern is the continued uncertainty surrounding GB Railways. This could hold up spending in software and there was a reduction in investment in remote condition monitoring equipment due to delays in the CP7 spending period.

Software company Celebrus Technologies (CLBS) says 2024-25 revenues will be lower than expected at $38.6m, down from $40.9m last year, but pre-tax profit was in line with expectations at $8.7m, up from $7.6m. Net cash was $31m at the end of March 2025, following a property sale generating $3.9m. Celebrus Technologies is changing its revenue recognition policies to a monthly basis, rather than annually in the month of signing the contract. Annual recurring revenues will rise by 14% to $18.8m this year.

Productivity efficiency software provider ActiveOps (AOM) generated higher than expected revenues for the year to March 2025. The estimate has been raised 4% to £30.4m. Net recurring revenues were 108%. Annualised recurring revenues were 15% ahead despite the loss of a major customer. Net cash was £20.6m at the end of March 2025, which is nearly one-third of the market capitalisation. Pre-tax profit will be flat at £2.1m, with £2.3m forecast for this year.

Concrete levelling equipment supplier Somero Enterprises (SOM) is cautious about this year because of global uncertainties affecting buying decisions and the starts of projects. It is cutting 15% of its workforce. Cavendish has cut its 2025 pre-tax profit estimate by 18% to $21.3m, down from $25.4m in 2024.

Marketing data analysis company Ebiquity (EBQ) did better than expected in the second half, but pre-tax profit still fell from £9.7m to £6.5m. The first quarter of 2025 was ahead of management expectations. A modest recovery in pre-tax profit to £7.1m is forecast for this year and there is potential for further outperformance.

Enteq Technologies (NTQ) says that there is no likelihood of a bid for the company, and it has ended its formal sales process. Management will still talk to potential buyers for parts of the business. Spending is being reduced, and the energy services equipment supplier is seeking additional finance. There is $602,000 in the bank and that will last until mid-May. SABER equipment has been prepared for further testing.

Software training services provider Northcoders (CODE) returned to profit in 2024, but it has revealed that the 18-month Department for Education contract, worth £10m, will not be renewed. There will be a move to a regional model. Management is ready for this and believes it will win business.

The board of credit hire company Anexo (ANX) advises no action should be taken by shareholders following the announcement of a potential bid by DBAY Advisers, Alan Sellers and Samantha Moss. These shareholders already own 63%. The offer could be in loan notes or shares in a new holding company.

Great Western Mining Corporation (GWMO) says the mill construction is substantially complete at the 50%-owned Western Milling joint venture in Nevada. Initial trial production should start soon. There are already plans to expand capacity. This will require some third-party finance, and a specialised mine engineering company will be brought in.

Vast Resources (VAST) says the historical diamond parcel has been released by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, which held it for 15 years. The contents of the parcel exceeded expectations, and the sales process should start in one month. Vast Resources is in talks with third parties about an investment in the Baita Plai polymetallic mine. The diamond sale proceeds will help to pay off debt.

Premier African Minerals (LON: PREM) has raised £1.575m at 0.035p/share. This will be invested in plant at the Zulu lithium and tantalum project so that grades and tonnage can be improved. That will help in the attempt to reach a binding agreement for future development.

MAIN MARKET

Structural steel supplier Severfield (SFR) reassured investors that trading is in line with expectations, although trading conditions is likely to remain tough and margins are under pressure. The UK and Europe order book has risen to £440m, but that includes work at Fenchurch Street that will not contribute until 2026-27. Generally, decisions are slow. Management believes that there could be annual cost savings of up to £4m. Insurance will cover some of the costs for the bridge remediation. Chair Charlie Cornish bought 103,125 shares at 24p each.

Investors have reacted positively to the appointment of David Brown to the newly formed Investment Advisory Board of Fragrant Prosperity Holdings (FPP). He has experience in fintech and AI and could help to secure an acquisition for the shell. David Brown will work with directors Simon Retter and Richard Samuel to identify acquisition targets. He was a founder of AI-based supplier payments company Previse and payment platform Oxygen Finance.

National Milk Records (NMRP) increased its interim revenues from £10.5m to £11.7m, although some of this was due to seasonal factors and one-off testing business. Pre-tax profit improved from £0.96m to £1.13m. Net debt was £2.06m at the end of December 2018. Every part of the business grew its revenues. Milk volumes are set to be strong in the second half, although milk margins are been squeezed by a decline in the milk price and higher feed costs.

Barkby (BARK) has completed the acquisition of Centurian Automotive for an initial payment of £201,000 in shares at 4.775p each, with up to £251,000 more based on performance over three years. Operating profit in each of the years is required to be at least £200,000 in order to achieve the full payment. The consideration represents a discount to net assets and will be equivalent to up to 20% of Barkby. In the year to March 2018, the automotive dealer made a pre-tax profit of £123,000 on revenues of £5.6m.

Sandal (SAND) says there was a significant increase in Energie MiHome sales in December, particularly later in the month, but trading is still below expectations because of a lack of cash to spend on marketing. The stock overhang has been unwound. A Wi-Fi adapter plug has been added to the range, which is being rolled out in Denman’s Electrical Wholesale branches.

Sport Capital Group (SCG) owned Palermo Football Club for less than one month before selling it back to the previous management team. It was bought for a nominal sum and is being sold for a nominal value, following further due diligence. The company’s representatives joined the board in December and resigned last week. Debt will be settled at the same time. Sports Capital had been trying to raise up to £20m over the next few months.

Trading has recommenced in the shares of EcoVista (EVTP) after it published its results for the year to August 2018. There was a £142,000 property revaluation gain and net assets were £1.39m. There are plans to launch a €10m Eurobond issue to fund further property site acquisitions in London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Gold explorer Tectonic Gold (TTAU) has completed stage one drilling on the Specimen Hill project in Queensland and each hole drilled intersected gold. Geological modelling results will be available in March. A further 7,500 metres of drilling is being planned.

Auxico Resources Canada Inc (AUAG) has raised $400,000 at 20 cents a unit (one share and one-half warrant). The expenses of the placing were $28,000. The cash will be used for assessing coltan opportunities in Colombia and Brazil. NQ Mining (NQMI) has raised £54,000 at 11p a share.

AIM  

Panoply Holdings (TPX) has made its third acquisition since floating in December. UK-based GreenShoot Labs provides digital services using artificial intelligence technology. There is no initial consideration and any payment will depend on performance.

Marketing and media services provider Ebiquity (EBQ) traded in line with expectations last year. The disposal of the advertising intelligence was completed on 2 January. This cut net debt to around £8m. The continuing business is expected to continue to grow at 8% a year.

Online merchandising software and services provider ATTRAQT Group (ATQT) increased its 2018 revenues by 26% to £17.1m and the loss declined from £4.1m to £2.7m. The largest customer has renewed for two years. Annual recurring revenues are £16m.

GRC International (GRC) has acquired data consulting business DQM Group for an initial £5.9m with up to £5m in deferred consideration, although it is not expected to be more than £3.5m. This is a significantly earnings enhancing deal.

Cabot Energy (CAB) is consolidating 100 shares into one new share and raising up to £2.85m at 10p per consolidated share. The cash will pay off trade creditors. The main focus is Canada but Cabot believes its Italian oil and gas exploration assets could still be valuable even though the Italian government has suspended exploration work and is reviewing the situation.

The administrator has sold most of the businesses of Patisserie Holdings (CAKE) but there will be no money for shareholders. Dublin-based Causeway Capital has acquired Patisserie Valerie and AF Blakemore acquired Philpotts for a total of £13m, of which £3m is deferred. Baker and Spice was sold to the Department of Coffee and Social Affairs for £2.5m. The AIM quotation will be cancelled on 25 February. Paul Mumford of Cavendish Asset Management believes that the company’s banks should have supported a rescue and been more attentive to what was happening at the company. He thinks that shareholders should seek compensation from the banks.

Malvern International (MLVN) has confirmed that it moved into profit in 2018. The education business has doubled its London-based revenues and this made up for difficult trading in Malaysia.

Realm Therapeutics (RLM) is selling is hypochlorous acid assets for $10m and intends to leave AIM. Realm already had $18.8m in the bank at the end of 2018. The plan is to use the cash to complete a strategic transaction in the life sciences sector. The ADSs will continue to be listed on Nasdaq.

Stride Gaming (STR) has started a strategic review. The choices are acquisitive or organic expansion or the sale of the online gaming company.

Renalytix AI (RENX) has secured a joint venture with laboratory and clinical trials operator AKESOgen and this will enable Renalytix AI to provide additional services in the US. The artificial intelligence-based kidney diagnostics already has a presence in New York and the new joint venture is based in Georgia.

Administrators have been appointed to Utilitywise (UTW) but none of the subsidiaries is in administration. Shareholders are not likely to get anything from the administration process. Unitlitywise was unable to raise the cash it required to keep going and meet liabilities.

Heavitree Brewery (HVT) improved full year revenues from £7.3m to £7.61m and pre-tax profit grew from £1.55m to £2.25m, although that included profit on the sale of pubs and other property of £824,000, up from £6,000. The previous year had benefited from the write-back of a bad debt provision. The final dividend is being increased from 4p a share to 4.25p a share. Heavitree no longer has to cover a pension scheme deficit because three people transferred out of the scheme.

Bowmark Capital has launched a 110p a share recommended cash bid for Tax Systems (TAX) and MXC Capital Ltd (MXC) has accepted with its 25.6% stake. The bid values the tax software provider at £100.6m.

Kodal Minerals (KOD) has published the results of the drilling programme at the Bougouni lithium project. These will be used to update the JORC resource, which should happen by the end of February. Kodal has met with the Mali authorities to update them.

Insignals Neurotech is the third Portuguese spin out for Frontier IP (FIPP) and it will hold a 33% stake. Insignals is developing technology for brain stimulation surgery.

Scientific Digital Imaging (SDI) has made another scientific instruments acquisition and it has raised £2.5m at 34p a share to help finance it. A further £100,000 was raised via PrimaryBid. Graticules manufactures reticules and graticules and fits with the digital imaging division. It cost £3.4m and has added 6% to next year’s earnings per share.

Strategic Minerals (SML) has announced a trebled resource at Redmoor, in which it has a 50% stake. There is an inferred tin equivalent contained metal of 137,000 tonnes.

James Latham (LTHM) has acquired the timber merchant that has the rights to sell Accoya wood in Ireland. Abbey Woods will cost an initial €1.825m with a further €300,000-€400,000 depending on completion accounts. Further deferred consideration of up to €400,000 depending on performance over two years. Last year, Abbey Woods generated EBITDA of €379,000 on revenues of €7.5m and it has operations in Dublin and Cork.

Vast Resources (VAST) says that the tranche B offtake finance from Mercuria Energy Trading did not happen. This means that the planned December and January repayments of the loan from Sub Sahara Goldia Investments have not been made Talks continue with potential finance providers to replace the cash to invest in 80%-owned copper, silver, gold, zinc, lead, tungsten, molybdenum Baita Plai project. Bergen Global Opportunities Fund is pausing the second tranche of the $3m bridge facility because the share price has been below 0.2p for two days. A placing has raised £896,000 at 0.135p a share and this will repay the £525,000 owed to Bergen. There are discussions with a potential cornerstone investor for a diamond project in Zimbabwe.

RiverFort Global Opportunities (RGO) has subscribed for shares in Pires Investments (PIRI), that will give it a 24.3% stake. RiverFort is taking nearly 50% of the shares issued in a placing that raised £782,000 at 2.4p a share for Pires. The cash will be used for new investments.

Trading in the shares of African Battery Materials (ABM) will resume on Monday 18 February following the issue of 200 million shares at 0.5p each. The cash will be used to pay creditors and leave enough to finance the business for 12 months. Andrew Bell has been appointed executive chairman and Paul Johnson as executive director.

Windar Photonics (WPHO) will undershoot the 2018 forecast, but there should be higher orders from Vestas and another manufacturer next year. Even so, 2019 forecasts are likely to be reduced. Total 2018 revenues were 59% ahead at €3.5m and higher gross margins meant that the loss before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation fell from €1.22m to €360,000. The end of year order book was worth €1m.

Nostra Terra Oil and Gas (NTOG) has more than trebled its proved and probable reserves to 2.43 million barrels of oil. Net proved reserves are 764,030 barrels of oil.

President Energy (PPC) has updated the reserves position. The Argentina and Louisiana reserves are valued at almost $300m, which is equivalent to 21p a share. That is more than twice the market capitalisation. Production is predominantly oil but gas production will increase this year.

Harwood Wealth Management (HW.) has acquired IFA Castleton Financial Planning for up to £1.6m.

Trading in the shares of Urals Energy (UEN) has been suspended following the resignation of Allenby as nominated adviser. A general meeting, which will be held on 22 February, has been called by Adler Impex SA in order to remove three directors and appoint four other directors. Oil production was 1,690 barrels/day in January. Loans made without board approval have meant that the company is short of cash.

Waste-to-energy technology developer PowerHouse Energy (PHE) is confident that it could sign up a customer in the next quarter. There is increasing interest and six potential sites are being assessed. Potential engineering, procurement and construction contractors have approached PowerHouse. Development partner Waste2Tricity is in negotiations with Toyota Tsusho, which would be a way of entering the Japanese market.

Braveheart Investment Group (BRH) has reduced its stake in Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) from 5.9% to 1.32%. Stephen Jones increased his stake from below 3% to 14.5% in just over one month.

Dewscope Ltd, where Mark Horrocks is a director, has cut its stake in Sabien Technology (SNT) from 12.7% to less than 3%. Chris Akers has also reduced his stake from 16.9% to less than 3% and Brendan Adams has cut his shareholding from 4.2% to under 3%. These stakes were acquired on 14 December, when the mid-price was 0.11p. On 11 February, when the shares were sold, the share price increased from 0.145p to 0.175p. Sabien reported a decline in interim revenues from £462,000 to £342,000, but the loss was reduced from £233,000 to £207,000 due to cost reductions.

TV programme producer DCD Media (DCD) expects to report revenues of £7.3m and a small EBITDA in 2018. Trading has started well in 2019 helped by business that was delayed from last year.

HaloSource (HAL) is seeking shareholder approval for the disposal of assets to Strix (KETL) for $1.3m. The cash will pay creditors and fund the winding down of the business. The AIM quotation will be cancelled on 12 March.

WANdisco (WAND) has raised $17.5m at 546p a share to provide cash to support relationships with partners. WANdisco has become an advanced technology partner with Amazon Web Services.

Adamas Finance Asia Ltd (ADAM) is issuing 6.1 million shares to China Aerospace for a 6.8% stake in Hong Kong Mining Holdings, where Adamas already has a 84.8% stake. This is a complicated deal, but Adamas can tell China Aerospace where to transfer these shares. It means that Adamas will not necessarily increase its shareholding in the mining company. Sorting out what was effectively a stock overhang should make it easier to do a deal that will unlock cash for Adamas.

NetScientific (NSCI) has concluded its strategic review and it has decided to cancel its AIM quotation. The remaining cash will be spent on the investee companies with the best prospects of providing a return before the company runs out of money.

Angus Energy (ANGS) is repaying the £1.5m initial advance from YA II and RiverFort Global Opportunities. Angus has raised £2.2m at 4p a share.

The University of British Columbia has ordered a polariser system from Polarean Imaging (POLX).

Begbies Traynor (BEG) has made the earnings enhancing acquisition of profitable Newcastle insolvency practice KRE. The initial payment is £450,000 with up to £150,000 more based on revenue targets over 12 months.

Full year figures will be lower than expected at IFA Tavistock Investments (TAVI) but a maiden dividend is still on the cards.

Crossword Cybersecurity (CCS) will report a 45% increase in 2018 revenues, with most of the growth coming from software.

MAIN MARKET 

Cryptocurrency mining services provider Argo Blockchain (ARB) is refocusing its business. All existing contracts will be terminated by the beginning of April. The focus will be Argo’s own currency mining. Ongoing costs will be cut by one-third. Net cash is £15m and that is much more than the market capitalisation of Argo. The cash outflow should be stemmed in the second half of 2019. Hadron Capital recently increased its stake to 7.6%.

Trading is in line at fasteners supplier Trifast (TRI) even though the UK automotive market is weak. More than two-thirds of sales are overseas. Additional UK stocks for Brexit are worth around £2m.

Commercial aircraft leasing company Avation (AVAP) expects to report a doubled interim profit on revenues that have risen from $52.4m to $58m.

Outdoor digital media company Grand Vision Media Holdings (GVMH) has signed a partnership agreement with Rakuten Bank in Japan to add to the one it signed with CY Group in South Korea. GVMH’s marketing services will help its partners promote themselves to Chinese tourists. GVMH has glasses-free 3D technology.

Helen Sachdev has been appointed as a non-executive director of Athelney Trust (ATY) and Frank Ashton has taken on the role of executive chairman. Discussions continue with Gresham House Asset Management about taking over the management of the company’s investments.

Future (FUTR) has secured a new £90m revolving credit facility and it is acquiring CyclingNews.com and Procycling Magazine, which generate annual revenues of £2m. This deal widens the sports publishing activities.

REA Holdings (RE.) significantly increased palm oil production in 2018, even though extraction rates were lower than expected. The Kota Bangun coal concession is heading towards reopening the mine, although there are local disputes.

NEX EXCHANGE 

China-based Gamfook Jewellery (GAMF) joined NEX on 24 December. The online retailer of customised jewellery was introduced at 15p a share, and the shares ended the first week at 15.5p (14p/17p).  That values Gamfook at £15.5m. Executive chairman Jindian Lin and his wife own 72.8% of Gamfook. A dividend based on 28% of profit attributable to shareholders is promised.

Part of the £407,000 Sanderson Capital Partners loan to Wishbone Gold (WSBN) has been converted into shares. The conversion of £258,500 was done at 0.1247p a share.

Milamber Ventures (MLVP) reported an increased interim loss of £343,000, up from £263,000. There were net liabilities at the end of September 2018, but the balance sheet has been improved by the issue of shares for cash and to pay off creditors. Problems at apprenticeship training company Eseential Learning are being sorted out.

PCG Entertainment (PCGE) had $913,000 in the bank and shareholders’ funds of £1.02m at the end of September 2018. There was a cash outflow from operations of £817,000 in the six month period to September 2018.

A subsidiary of Lombard Capital (LCAP) is issuing two bonds. The first is a 4% bond, raising up to £50m and expiring at the end of January 2022, and the other is a 4.5% bond, raising up to £90m and expiring at the end of January 2024. It is intended that both bonds should be lised on a recognised exchange.

AIM  

For a change the last major announcement of the year is a positive one. Gordon Dadds (GOR) has completed the acquisition of international law firm Ince UK and it will trade as Ince Gordon Dadds. Trading in the shares recommences on 2 January. The deal will cost £27.3m over four years, plus options over three million shares, and the combined group generated fees of £30.5m in the year to April 2018. The deal should be earnings enhancing in the current financial year.

Earthport (EPO) is recommending a 30p a share bid from Visa Inc. This values the payments technology company at £198m. The bid is 50% higher than the 20p a share placing price in October 2017, but lower than the 40.85p a share placing price in September 2014.

Chamberlin (CMH) improved its trading in the first half and the cash from the sale of the Exidor business has improved its balance sheet. The foundries business moved back into profit in the first half as demand continues to increase for turbo charger housings, which are used for hybrid cars as wells as conventinal ones. The company’s debt has been reduced from £10.5m at the end of September 2018 to £3.7m. The pension deficit has been cut from £4m in the last balance sheet to £1.5m.

Facilities management and security services provider Mortice Ltd (MORT) increased its interim revenues by 10% to $116.7m. Underlying pre-tax profit was 5% ahead at $2.3m. Net debt was $20.1m at the end of September 2018.

TUS International has published a circular for a general meeting in January in order to gain shareholder approval for the acquisition of the Telit Communications (TCM) automotive business, whose reorganisation is near completion.

In the six months to September 2018, Stanley Gibbons (SGI) continues to lose money although costs have been reduced. Revenues fell from £7.14m to £5.03m. Coins and medals are the part of the business still making a profit. The overall loss has been reduced from £2.93m to £2.37m.

The People’s Operator (TPOP) does not expect to appoint a new nominated adviser and the share placing with the owner of LycaMobile has been pulled. The investment of £1.3m in shares (29.9%) and convertible loan notes will not go ahead but the potential investor is considering its options. The AIM quotation will be cancelled on 3 January.

TSX-V quoted PetroTal Corp (PTAL) has gained an AIM quotation. The Peru-focused oil producer is developing its interests at Bretana and growing near-term production.

IT compliance and security services provider GRC International (GRC) increased its interim revenues by 54% to £8.91m, thanks to a boost from GDPR, but it moved from a pre-tax profit of £614,000 to a loss of £2.18m. There was additional investment following the flotation of the company in March. Cash is running out and an overdraft and a loan facility have been secured.

Gaming technology developer Nektan (NKTN) is raising £1.5m at 15p a share, although not all the shares will be issued until the company gets shareholder approval at the AGM on 7 February, and it will generate £2m from the sale of 57.5 of US subsidiary Respin. There are also plans to restructure the conversion terms of loan notes and a shareholder loan. These proposals are dependent on each other going ahead and on the successful negotiation with the HMRC over the payment terms for £2.9m of UK point of consumption tax. There was £1.4m in cash at the end of June 2018, which is similar to the cash outflow from operations in the preceeding 12 months.

Functional food ingredients developer Provexis (PXS) improved interim revenues from £124,000 to £194,000. The company’s Fruitiflow products are being more widely sold and the prospects for the deal with BY-HEALTH in China are positive. Pro forma cash was £556,000.

Veltyco Group (VLTY) is going to launch its own regulated financial trading brand in the first quarter of 2019, although this depnds on regulatory approval.

Oil and gas explorer and producer Cabot Energy (CAB) says that it is still trying to raise cash via a share issue and it would be at a large discount to the current share price. The cash needs to bre raised by the end of January in order to pay overdue creditors and provide working capital.

Building materials sector consolidator SigmaRoc (SRC) has announced its plans to redeem its £10m of 6% convertible loan notes. SigmaRoc is offering 105p for each 100p loan note, plus 0.378p a note in interest payments. The last acceptance date for the tender is 16 January.

Mobile commerce services provider Bango (BGO) will be loss-making in 2018, although there was an EBITDA in the fourth quarter. End user spend more than doubled to £550m. There should be £3.5m in the bank at the end of 2018.

WANdisco (WAND) has secured a three-year agreement with an American healthcare company worth £700,000. The deal involves WANdisco Fusion and comes via the sales partnership with IBM.

Paracale Gold is providing a loan of up to $1.224m to Goldstone Resources (GRL) to finance the development of the Akrokeri-Homase project in Ghana. This mine could be in production in 2020. Paracale will receive 40.35 million warrants exercisable at 1.2p a share, which replace existing warrants.

Mobile payments technology provider MobilityOne Ltd (MBO) has secured an agency and reseller agreement with MBP Solutions for the company’s products in Malaysia.

In the six months to September 2018, Vast Resources (VAST) reported a 8% increase in gold production to 13,352 ounes at the Pickstone-Peerless gold mine in Zimbabwe. There was a 61% increase in copper concentrate produced to 1,526 tonnes at the Manaila polymetallic mine and zinc concentrate produced has nearly doubled to 199 tonnes. Revenues increased from $14.9m to $21.9m. There was still a cash outflow from operations of $1.79m.

Michael Principe and Greg Genske have resigned from the board of TLA Worldwide (TLA) following the sale of its core US business. The agreement with SunTrust Bank to defer capital and interest payments has been extended to 31 January.

Phoenix Global Mining (PGM) has raised £358,000 at 28p a share. There is a warrant exercisable at 28p, lasting until the end of 2021, with every four new shares. The cash will be invested in the Empire copper, gold, silver, zinc and tungsten mine in Idaho, where news of the most recent drilling is expected. A new resource statement will be prepared and additional acreage acquired.

Urban Exposure (UEX) had committed new lending of £522m during 2018. It has secured a £165m loan facility for its joint venture with KKR, as well as a £32.8m loan from Aviva for a single transaction by the joint venture.

MAIN MARKET    

Nanoco (NANO) has achieved the third milestone in its cadmium-free quantum dots technology development and supply agreement with a US customer and triggered a £1.6m. This is the final milestone of three and they have generated £4.2m.

Robin Boyle has requisitioned a general meeting at Athelney Trust (ATY) in order to get himself reappointed. He also wants David Lawman and Paul Coffin to be appointed and the three existing directors, Dr Emmanuel Pohl, Simon Moore and Jemma Jackson, to be removed. The other two resolutions are to terminate Jason Pohl as alternate director and any other director appointed by the time of the general meeting on 22 January.

Standard list shell Stranger Holdings (STHP) is still awaiting UKLA approval for its proposed reverse takeover of waste energy technology developer Alchemy, which was announced in August 2017. Management is hopeful that the deal could go ahead by the end of the first quarter of 2019. Stranger had net liabilities of £435,000 at the end of September 2018.

Dukemount Capital (DKE) has forward-funded and pre-sold its first development at West Derby to a fund managed by Alpha Real Capital. Dukemunt will receive £570,000 for the site and the total funding package for the development will be £3m. The development involves demolishing the existing building and constructing 17 supported living appartments and retail space. Dukemount continues to manage and develop the project on behalf of the supported living housing association that has taken a 50-year lease.
